Balance between Good and evil
Errr.. testing microphone…is it on? ….. good good
Ahem ahem
Before thou proceedeth and readeth… before you continue with whatever I think I have here ,I have decided to leave a little warning. What you are about to read is probably the ramblings of a mad and immature man.
I had no decent title hence that nonsense up there

As I turned away from my phone I couldn’t help the thoughts that besieged my recovering mind. I had just seen one of the most anticipated epsiodes of Jujustu Kaisen. This episode basically chronicled the beginning of the conflict between the two main characters or better put contrary forces.
Across literature and life we are used to this:generation of conflict by putting one against another. It would be easy to refer to one side as Good and the other as Evil. The good is usually burdened with the safety and lives of the helpless whilst ‘Evil’ disregards everything in his pursuit of his goals. These two concepts are consistently deployed across literature with chosen characters, mere victims of the cosmic chess between the forces of Good and Evil; Some blissfully unaware others fully conscious of their roles in the universe. This unending chess games is sacred and upheld highly as it is said to be necessary for the continuation and existence of life. For life to progress, the two forces must possess the same power and embody mutually assure destruction.
This theory suggests that if Good reigns supreme the world will descend into regressive contentment and be satisfied in stagnation until everything stops, if it’s Evil the world will feast upon itself until there’s nothing left: self destruction.
The pitfall of this equilibrium shibboleth is that evil is dulled into necessary evil or perhaps simply necessary. If Evil then loses the cloak of vilification and puts on that of necessity, the concept known as good can no longer occupy the post of righteousness? Right? The lines of ethics are then blurred and then on what foundation do we condemn murderers, thieves or even worse rapists? They are simply people willing to do what must be done to maintain and sustain life.
Yin Yang, the eastern philosophy is sometimes interpreted as good and bad energy. A different and perhaps better interpretation would be to view the opposing forces as simply that, opposing forces; chaos and order, wet and dry, potential and kinetic, left and right.
In superhero cartoons we are used to heroes stopping evil and handing the individuals to be dealt with legally. The individual breaks out, commits crimes and hurts people then the hero arises again, the circle goes on and on until they are both old.
In the course of this hide and seek game, lives and properties are lost; those that don’t die are traumatized forever. If the hero had decided to kill the villain, he would have stopped the eternal circle but he would have crossed an invisible line.
The existence of a great towering ‘evil’ usually forces the rise of good. A formidable threat to human existence will call for messages of unity and oneness as exemplified during the pandemic.
So should thousands of lives be lost on a daily basis to a specific evil for the unity of humanity?
Then again humanity should have bonded together years ago as covid 19 or not, lives are being lost on a daily basis.
Any attempt to unite humanity would probably Tower of Babel all over aga
